About The Position

This position manages supply chain processes and ensures merchandise flow through the distribution network and fulfillment centers by directing resolutions and responding to the escalation of daily issues. It involves analyzing data from multiple stakeholders to streamline and improve network efficiencies, providing data for the supplier compliance process flow, and researching and analyzing the root cause of daily and escalated exceptions concerning shipping, receiving, inventory, and returns. The role also includes conducting performance reviews of sanitation associates, providing recommendations for corrective actions, and cleaning warehouse ceilings, racks, and walls in all chambers of the warehouse, including freezers. The manager supports plans and initiatives to meet customer and business needs, identifies and communicates goals and objectives, builds accountability, and measures progress in achieving results. They identify and address improvement opportunities, demonstrate adaptability, and promote continuous learning. This role provides supervision and development opportunities for associates by hiring, training, mentoring, and assigning duties, as well as providing recognition. The manager influences field-level direction and provides guidance for the execution of operations by acting as a liaison for the field. They are responsible for addressing performance-related issues, identifying best practices, and advising teams on adoption and implementation. Collaboration with business partners to identify and develop resources and improve efficiencies is key. The role manages supply chain flow process improvement efforts by contributing to the design, development, and delivery of new ways of working through continuous improvement recommendations to leadership. They prioritize sanitation objectives, ensure flow plans are achievable, and promote innovation to simplify current solutions and methodologies. The manager is responsible for managing the correction of errors, processes, and feedback loops, identifying areas of opportunity to improve service levels, and supporting the use of end-to-end costing methodologies and lean concepts. They provide cost recommendations to reduce process waste and identify opportunities for cost reductions and process efficiencies. Reviewing and analyzing the impact and benefits to internal processes, coordinating and aligning planning with organizational initiatives and directions, and looking at work plans to make changes as needed to achieve team or workgroup objectives are also part of the role. Setting realistic timelines for goal accomplishment, improving work processes and practices to increase performance and results, and holding associates accountable for completing work within expectations and time requirements are essential. Planning and managing team member time based on business priorities and following up to ensure all work requirements are completed in a timely and accurate manner are also key responsibilities. Identifying and obtaining the resources needed to complete projects, identifying, reviewing, and applying policies and procedures to make informed judgments, and using data and evidence to determine the causes of problems and develop solutions are crucial. Reviewing customer/member-focused data and adjusting performance to address findings, promoting and supporting associate efforts to exceed customer/member expectations, and coaching associates to identify and locate resources and meet the needs of customers/members are also part of the role.
