Sanitation Lead I - 3rd Shift
About The Position
This position follows procedures and SOPs to perform cleaning on production equipment to ensure safety, hygiene, and food safety. The role may involve recording information to reflect sanitation activities and issues, and advising/updating the supervisor/manager of progress and any non-routine issues. The job requires the ability to be productive on third-shift scheduling and may involve ascending or descending stairs in multi-level facilities. Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. The work environment can be expansive, noisy, wet/humid, and vary in temperature.
Requirements
- Must have Industrial Food Sanitation Experience
- Must be capable of being productive on third-shift scheduling.
- Must be able to speak, read, and write in basic English.
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred.
- At least six months experience in a sanitation production environment preferred.
- Must have some Microsoft Office skills.
Nice To Haves
- Spanish is a plus.
- Supervisory skills are desired.
- Familiarity with refractometers a plus.
Responsibilities
- Follows established procedures in the cleaning and sanitation of idle production equipment.
- Completes required reporting to reflect activity.
- Advises supervisor when supplies need to be ordered.
- Familiarity and understanding of testing for chemical concentrations.
- Familiarity with COP and CIP systems.
