About The Position
Freshline is seeking a Sanitation Lead Hand to guide their sanitation team. This role involves acting as a lead hand in the supervisor's absence, performing and assigning cleaning duties for food processing machines, utilizing various cleaning methods, training new employees, and maintaining the overall cleanliness and hygiene of the facility, including machines, compactors, and windows.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 1-2 years sanitation related experience is a must
Responsibilities
- Act as a lead hand while the supervisor is out of reach
- Assign and perform the duties of cleaning all the food processing machines
- Use different cleaning approaches such as water rinse, foam, sanitizer etc.
- Train and coach new employees
- Maintain the cleanliness and hygiene of the whole facility including machines, compactors, windows and other applicable areas
