About The Position

Rich’s is seeking a proactive and organized Sanitation Clerk to support its fast-moving operations. This role is crucial for ensuring the Sanitation department has the necessary tools, information, and resources to operate safely, efficiently, and successfully. The ideal candidate will be energized by coordinating inventory, maintaining accurate records, supporting training and audit readiness, and helping teams stay organized and compliant.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED
Knowledge of sanitation, food safety, GMP, and quality requirements within a manufacturing environment
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word and Excel

Nice To Haves

Experience with SAP AA/BA in Chemistry

Responsibilities

Create and manage SSOP (Sanitation Standard Operating Procedures), chemical usage records, and pre-operational inspection checklists through KLEANZ.
Ensure all sanitation records are legible, fully compliant, and ready for regulatory or internal audits.
Document deviations from cleanliness standards and track the corrective actions taken to resolve them.
Oversee the execution of the Master Sanitation Schedule (MSS), ensuring daily, weekly, and monthly cleaning tasks are assigned and completed.
Track inventory levels of detergents, sanitizers, and PPE, placing purchase orders before supplies are depleted.
Assist in training sanitation crew members on proper chemical handling, GMPs (Good Manufacturing Practices), and food safety requirements.
Ensure team members adhere to safety guidelines, including the use of PPE and Lockout/Tagout procedures.
Act as the primary point of contact between production, maintenance, and QA teams to address facility hygiene challenges.
