About The Position

This role is for a Sanitation Associate on the night shift, starting at 8:00 PM. Swing shift employees receive an additional $1.00 differential added to their hourly rate. The Sanitation Associate is the first line of defense in food safety, responsible for keeping the Clackamas facility clean, safe, and running smoothly. Responsibilities include general housekeeping tasks such as sweeping, mopping, and debris removal, along with scheduled cleaning of equipment, restrooms, breakrooms, and warehouse areas. The role also supports recycling efforts, manages waste disposal, and adheres to strict food safety and sanitation standards. Requirements

  • Ability to lift up to 50lbs
  • Ability to use a pressure washer
  • Ability to work in tall heights while in a scissor lift
  • Ability to read/write/speak English
  • Ability to work in a refrigerated environment (33 to 36 degrees F)
  • Ability to work safely and professionally in a fast-paced environment with frequent heavy equipment and pedestrian traffic

Nice To Haves

  • 1-year previous janitorial experience preferred
  • Pallet jack/forklift experience a plus

Responsibilities

  • Maintaining a clean, safe, and organized warehouse environment in accordance with company standards and food safety requirements.
  • Performing general housekeeping such as sweeping, mopping, and debris removal.
  • Conducting scheduled cleaning of equipment, restrooms, breakrooms, and other facility areas.
  • Supporting recycling efforts.
  • Assisting with pest control prevention.
  • Operating equipment such as forklifts to manage waste.
  • Completing the daily SQF inspection log.
  • Working independently and communicating issues.
  • Performing other duties as assigned by management.
