About The Position

The Sanitation Associate maintains sanitation levels and recycling programs in company facilities according to company standards. Depending on the location, the role covers warehouses, breakrooms, offices, restrooms, and facility grounds. The position is based in Joliet, Illinois, and is scheduled Monday through Friday from 6:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Base pay is $17.50 per hour, based on skills and experience.

Requirements

Must be at least 18 years old.
Must pass a pre-employment drug screening and background check.
Must be able to perform physically exerting duties in a warehouse environment, which may not be temperature controlled.

Nice To Haves

High school diploma or equivalent.
Previous sanitation experience.

Responsibilities

Maintain the highest degree of sanitation in the facility.
Use tools and equipment such as hand brooms, blowers, vacuum cleaners, powered sweeper scrubbers, scissor lifts, and boom lifts to meet sanitation standards.
Empty and maintain trash cans and recycling containers.
Ensure pest control systems are operating effectively.
Maintain the sanitation area, supplies, and supply inventory.
Complete daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly cleaning checklists.
Comply with OSHA and MSDS standards.
Comply with AIB and Food Safety Defense standards.
Perform additional duties as assigned by a supervisor.
