About The Position

Works under the supervision of the Facilities Director. Responsible for the maintenance of the grounds, sanitation, and trash collection of Eliada Homes, Inc.

Requirements

• Minimum high school diploma or GED.
• Some experience in maintenance of grounds and/or sanitation preferred.
• Must possess a valid North Carolina driver's license and be insurable by Eliada insurance carriers.
• The position may require frequent local travel and hazards can be many due to type of work being done on campus.
• The position requires employee to be able to lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for the mowing of lawns and the general upkeep of the grounds.
• Responsible to keep limbs, trash, etc. picked up on a daily basis.
• Keep hedges pruned and trimmed.
• Daily trash collection across Eliada’s programs.
• Responsible to see that roads and walks are scraped and de-iced during winter.
• Maintain cleanliness of gutters.
• Maintain and service all equipment.
• Mulch flowerbeds as needed.
• Maintain all fence lines.
• Other jobs as assigned by Facilities Director
