About The Position

Perform job duties required to maintain kitchen work areas and kitchen equipment in clean and orderly condition. This position supports food service operations by cleaning and sanitizing kitchen spaces, equipment, dishes, and food preparation surfaces; handling waste; moving supplies and equipment safely; and assisting with setup and deliveries as needed.

Responsibilities

Sweep and mop floors at appropriate intervals to comply with safety and sanitation standards.
Operate large electric machines such as dishwashers, sanitizers, trash compactors, and glass crushers.
Wash worktables, walls, refrigerators, meat blocks, and other food preparation surfaces as assigned.
Segregate and remove trash and garbage, place it in designated containers, and steam clean or hose out garbage cans in assigned areas.
Wash dishes, pots, pans, utensils, and other food preparation machines and equipment.
Transfer supplies and equipment between storage and work areas while following safe lifting standards.
Assist with banquet table and front-of-house setup as requested.
Assist with loading or unloading and delivering supplies and products.
Distribute supplies, utensils, and portable equipment as needed.
Comply with outlined sanitation and safety requirements.
Perform other duties as assigned.
