About The Position

This position is located at 283 Ship Canal Parkway in Buffalo, NY. As a Sanitarian, one will maintain the warehouse in a sanitary condition to comply with Federal, State and Local regulations, as well as customer requirements.

Requirements

• Basic reading and writing skills.
• Ability to use hand tools.
• Must wear approved safety shoes
• Must wear safety vest.
• Must be able to lift up to 50lbs.
• Must be able to walk, bend, stoop, kneel, crawl, and climb.

Nice To Haves

• Forklift experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for maintaining a clean warehouse floor by picking up debris (cardboard, plastic, and general warehouse debris).
• Thoroughly cleaning restrooms.
• Emptying trash cans throughout the facility.
• Sweeping and mopping floors throughout the warehouse.
• Maintaining the outside areas of the warehouse by sweeping parking lot, removing any trash/debris from the perimeter of the warehouse and cleaning underneath dock plates.
• Operate and maintain floor cleaning machine (Zamboni), if applicable and needed.
• Comply with all Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) guidelines.
• Performs all other duties as assigned.
