About The Position
CC Holdings Group is seeking friendly, motivated, and detail-oriented individuals for full-time and part-time Sandwich Artist/Cashier/CSR positions at their Nature's Table Civic Plaza location in the Indianapolis International Airport. The role involves assembling sandwiches, wraps, salads, and protein bowls according to recipes and standards, maintaining a clean and stocked station, and adhering to food safety requirements. As a cashier, responsibilities include processing various payment types, balancing the cash drawer, and providing excellent customer service. The environment is described as fun and fast-paced, with shifts available seven days a week between 5:00 AM and 8:30 PM. A valid driver's license is required to receive a parking pass.
Requirements
- Must have a valid driver's license to receive a parking pass.
- Knowledge of methods and procedures for serving food, principles of sanitation, and principles of safe food handling.
- Effective communication skills.
- Demonstrates excellent communication and “listening” skills.
- Highly flexible, with solid interpersonal skills that allow one to work effectively in a diverse working environment.
- Attention to detail in all areas of work.
- Superior time management skills, multitasking skills, and the ability to prioritize tasks with minimal supervision.
- Ability to deal with changes.
- Willingness to assist in other tasks when asked.
Nice To Haves
- Prior sandwich artist, cashier, and CSR experience preferred but not required.
Responsibilities
- Assembling sandwiches, wraps, salads, and protein bowls following recipes and NT standards.
- Preparing orders in a timely, efficient, sanitary, and consistent manner.
- Maintaining and stocking the station.
- Following all food safety requirements.
- Processing cash, debit, and credit card transactions on a point-of-sale system.
- Balancing the cash drawer, making change, and entering purchases.
- Providing customer service.
- Arriving in proper uniform and adhering to grooming standards.
- Setting up station according to cafe guidelines.
- Preparing food items as directed in a sanitary and timely manner.
- Following portion control and presentation specifications.
- Restocking all items as needed throughout the shift.
- Cleaning and maintaining the station, practicing good safety, sanitation, and organizational skills.
- Properly using and maintaining all equipment in the station.
- Preparing dishes for customers with food allergies or intolerances.
- Ensuring quality and safety of food by performing standard and additional sanitary measures, including sweeping, cleaning surfaces, and proper food covering and storage.
- Working at an efficient and consistent pace.
- Following all cash handling procedures.
- Assisting in financial accountability by correctly recording orders, receiving/giving change, and counting the drawer.
- Thanking customers and inviting them to return.
- Acting as a role model with customers and staff, and helping to provide on-the-job training for new employees.
- Working with others in a team to support operations, standards, and concept essence.
- Suggestive selling and keeping customers informed about products, promotions, and other services.
