About The Position

The Sanding Technician prepares different types of stock for the painting room. The role requires learning the stock configurations and preparation processes, following instructions, and completing tasks from start to finish to the expected quality standards. The technician must manage multiple tasks, meet daily production quotas, and maintain dependable, clean work habits.

• Able to learn processes, take instructions, and repeat them.
• Able to perform repetitive tasks while seated and maintain high quality.
• Detail-oriented and able to work well with hands.
• Dependable and punctual for shifts.
• Maintains clean work habits.

• Able to work overtime as needed.

Responsibilities

• Prepare different types of stock for the painting room.
• Learn stock configurations and the required preparation processes for each stock.
• Follow instructions and complete assigned tasks from start to finish at the expected quality level.
• Operate a sand blaster.
• Operate an orbital sander.
• Meet daily production quotas.
