About The Position

The Sanding Technician prepares different types of stocks for the painting room, learning each stock configuration and the preparation process needed to move items to the next stage while meeting quality expectations. The role requires following instructions, completing tasks from start to finish, and managing multiple tasks and time effectively. Technicians must meet daily production quotas and may be asked to work overtime as needed.

Responsibilities

• Prepare different types of stocks for the painting room.
• Learn the different stock configurations and preparation processes.
• Follow instructions and complete assigned tasks from start to finish at the expected quality level.
• Operate a sand blaster and an orbital sander.
• Meet daily production quotas.
