About The Position

CSI Aerospace Inc., a subsidiary of HEICO Corporation, is seeking a Sander (Assembler). The Sander performs tasks and functions related to producing finished products by grinding, sanding, or polishing metal products with hand tools or hand-held power tools. This is a first-shift position, Monday through Thursday, 6:00 AM to 4:30 PM, with overtime on Fridays as needed. The position is DOT-FAA safety sensitive.

Requirements

• Ability to use hand tools and a sander.
• Good dexterity and precision when working on parts.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules and procedure manuals.
• Ability to communicate orally and in writing.
• Ability to stand for long periods, use hands to finger, handle, or feel, reach with hands and arms, and talk or hear.
• Ability to lift up to 20 pounds.
• Required vision abilities include close, distance, color, and peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.

Nice To Haves

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Previous experience in a manufacturing assembly environment performing repetitive work preferred.

Responsibilities

• Grind, sand, or polish metal products using hand tools or hand-held power tools.
• Follow company procedures and policies regarding personnel and quality issues.
• Maintain equipment and the work area in a clean and orderly manner.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
