About The Position
The Sandblaster is responsible for safely removing debris and imperfections from the unit utilizing the blast booth with steel shot media.
Requirements
- Must be able to work as part of a team
- Must be at least 18 years old
Nice To Haves
- Previous sandblasting experience preferred
Responsibilities
- Blasting tanks, shrouds, and frames to remove dirt, grease, paint, and other built-up material from surfaces
- Set up and operate sandblasting equipment
- Log all work completed
- Turn booth on and off following work procedure orders
- Clean booth as directed
- Proper PPE (person protective equipment) MUST be worn while in booth
- Performs other duties as assigned
Benefits
- Pay Range of $18.43 - $23.96
- $2.00/hour night shift differential
- Productivity Bonus, paid quarterly. Average 2025 payout was $7/hour. Payouts are based on overall company profitability, and attendance
- $500 sign on bonus, paid after 90 days of employment
