About The Position

Work under the direction of the department Lead or supervisor to assist with daily operations. Responsible for continually maintaining a clean working environment. Prepare metal for painting, which includes sandblasting, and wiping down steel to remove oil and cutting fluids.

Requirements

High School diploma or equivalent demonstrated ability to read, write and perform basic math calculations.
1 or more year experience blasting in a production/Industrial environment.
Ability to read tape measure digital and analog profiler and other handheld measuring tools
Demonstrated punctual and dependable performance
Ability to exude high energy, solution-based thinking, while focusing great attention to detail and maintaining a service-oriented disposition.

Responsibilities

Use measurement devices to measure & record sandblast profile
Perform daily maintenance routines on blast equipment
Clean blast booth, lights, and change filters
Follow safe operating and lifting procedures
Wear proper safety equipment
Use proper protective equipment when necessary, following all safety procedures.
May perform other duties as assigned.
