Requirements
- Sandblasting experience preferred (training available for the right candidate)
- Strong attention to detail and surface quality
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
- Solid understanding of safety practices in industrial settings
- Regular standing, walking, and use of hands and tools
- Lift up to 50 lbs as needed
- Safety-sensitive role requiring PPE (steel toe boots, safety glasses, etc.)
Responsibilities
- Operate abrasive blasting equipment on stainless steel components
- Clean, polish, and prepare surfaces for food-grade applications
- Inspect materials and select the right blasting techniques
- Ensure consistent finishes, texture, and quality standards
- Follow strict safety and sanitation guidelines
- Track work completed, materials used, and time spent
- Work closely with production and maintenance teams to meet deadlines
