Requirements

Seasoned journalist with a track record of scoops and smart features.
Ability to get inside companies to break news and tell colourful stories.
Collaboration, sharing tips and bylines are essential.
Do not use AI in test submissions; written materials should be a genuine reflection of their own knowledge, skills and experiences.
Employ AI only as a tool to help with research and interview readiness for a role.

Responsibilities

Lead coverage of Meta at a critical time as Mark Zuckerberg bets the company's future on artificial intelligence.
Cover other newsworthy tech companies including Elon Musk’s X and the future of ByteDance’s US TikTok business.
Get inside these companies to break news and tell colourful stories about their powerful founders during a pivotal moment for Silicon Valley.
Work closely with the growing team of tech, finance and deals reporters in San Francisco, New York, London and China, as well as the FT’s wider network of 700 reporters in 40 countries.
