About The Position
Samsung Electronics America (SEA) is seeking a Part-Time Retail Sales Associate, also known as a Samsung Experience Consultant (SEC). This role is employed by 2020 Companies, an outsourced sales and marketing firm that represents major brands in Consumer Electronics, Telecom, and Energy. The SEC will drive consumer sales of Samsung Electronic devices, including phones, tablets, and wearables, within a Best Buy retail store. The ideal candidate is passionate about technology, excels in sales and customer service, is organized, a self-starter, and skilled at building relationships.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Six (6) months prior sales, retail, telecom or marketing experience preferred.
- Demonstrated knowledge of products and services.
- Excellent communications, presentation, interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
- Impeccable integrity and commitment to customer satisfaction.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Availability to work evenings, weekends and high demand retail holidays.
- Ability to maintain customer confidentiality.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate, sell, and promote Samsung products to customers in Best Buy.
- Ensure consumers have the latest and most relevant product information.
- Build relationships with Best Buy associates and leadership through daily trainings, collaboration, and goal sharing.
- Drive sellout of Samsung mobile products and services using conversational consulting sales techniques.
- Understand customer needs and recommend suitable Samsung products.
- Build confidence in Samsung products and services among Best Buy employees and customers.
- Build strong partnerships with Best Buy staff to drive key initiatives and goals.
- Meet or exceed personal and store sales goals monthly.
- Provide excellent customer and client service.
- Ensure retail brand standards are met through merchandising, security, installation, and cleanliness.
- Complete display resets upon request and during new product launches.
- Complete daily reporting on sales performance and retail insights.
