Sample Room Technician
About The Position
Performs material cutting using hand industrial size scissors and Hand Cutting Machines to accurately cut various markers, unique samples and various re-sizing repairs. Operates Laser Cutter machine, Hot knife machine, and other equipment to cut trims by their SCI code. Reads and understands trim sheets and SCI codes to replenish sample room inventory. Assists sewers with various machines like grommets, button holes, and bar tacking machines. Also assists with master samples management, assembly, and packaging. Responsible for printing UPS labels for shipping final products and monitoring projects in the Manager's absence. Adheres to company safety and quality standards, maintaining a clean work area. Performs other related duties as required or assigned.
Requirements
- Ability to cut various markers, unique samples, and re-sizing repairs using hand industrial size scissors and Hand Cutting Machines.
- Proficiency in operating Laser Cutter machine.
- Proficiency in operating Hot knife machine.
- Ability to read and understand trim sheets.
- Understanding of SCI codes for cutting trims and inventory replenishment.
- Experience operating grommets, button holes, and bar tacking machines.
- Skills in master samples management.
- Ability to assist with assembly and packaging.
- Proficiency in printing UPS labels.
- Ability to monitor projects.
- Knowledge of company's safety and quality standards.
- Ability to maintain a safe and clean work area.
Responsibilities

- Monitor projects in Manager’s absence.
- Responsible for working according to the company’s safety and quality standards.
- Maintains a safe and clean work area.
- Perform other related duties as required and or as assigned.
