This role is responsible for sample receipt, sorting, and line up according to Eurofins Scientific guidelines. The clerk will be proficient in performing duties on two platforms, responsible for the registration or verification of key clients, and will complete training on how to be an effective trainer. They will train new personnel on platform duties, be GLP Trained and Certified, and increase knowledge by shadowing/studying other departments. The role involves entering sample testing requests and other pertinent information into the computer system, verifying data entry for accuracy, and ensuring work is completed when co-workers are absent. Responsibilities also include maintaining storage of retained samples, maintaining a neat and accurate record system, and assisting with filing. The clerk must maintain a safe and clean work area, manage time for high productivity, and ensure proprietary methodologies are not disclosed. They must follow all Eurofins Scientific guidelines and procedures, maintain readiness to respond to client and staff queries, remain current on industry advancements, maintain cooperative working relationships, and communicate orally and in writing with co-workers. The role also involves promoting company image through ethical business practices and performing other assigned duties.
