Sample Management Technician- Bottle Prep (M-F 7am-3pm) Eurofins Environment Testing Northeast, Parsippany NJ
About The Position
Eurofins Environment Testing is looking for a Sample Bottle Prep Technician in our Parsippany, New Jersey laboratory. This position is responsible for preserving bottles, packing bottle orders according to client specifications, stocking shelves and supplies, printing bottle orders (if required), shipping bottle orders on the FedEx system, and preparing acid dilutions. The role requires regular attendance and punctuality, accurate packing of bottle orders following guidelines, and adherence to procedures for packing, preparing orders, preserving bottles, preparing dilutions or acids, and interpreting bottle order requests. The technician will also restock shelves with proper bottle types, keep the work area clean, prepare dilutions of acids, prepare samples in coolers for shipping, and wash coolers. May also perform courier duties and pick up samples from client sites. All activities must be conducted in a safe and efficient manner. Other duties may be assigned.
Requirements
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds comfortably.
- Able to stand, bend, twist throughout the day
- Must be able to understand and follow SOPs and work instructions
- Must be able to operate a computer and printer
- Demonstrated effective communication skills and relate well to people in direct communication
- Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship
- Must have a valid US drivers license without recent incident.
- Will drive company provided vehicle as needed.
- Professional working proficiency in English is a requirement, including the ability to read, write and speak in English.
Responsibilities

- Preserves bottles following SOP guidelines
- Restocks shelves with the proper bottle types
- Keeps area clean and free of clutter
- Prepares dilutions of acids used in preserving bottles
- Prepares samples in coolers with bubble wrap for shipping
- Washing coolers
- Ships bottle orders on the FedEx system
- May need to perform Courier duties and pick up samples form client sites.
- Conducts all activities in a safe and efficient manner
- Performs other duties as assigned
