About The Position

The Associate Project Manager supports the Project Management Staff in providing exceptional customer service to our clients. This position is ideal for candidates who thrive in a customer service position and have a background in Environment or the Sciences. The role involves managing project setup, sample receipt, reporting, and invoicing within the LIMS system, as well as providing client communication coverage and assisting with other assigned tasks. Regular attendance, punctuality, and participation in laboratory meetings and cross-training are expected.

Requirements

Associates Degree (four years client-relationship/client service experience may substitute for a degree)
1-3 years customer service experience
Great attention to detail
Proficient in various computer programs (Word, Excel, Outlook)
Professional communication skills
Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship
Professional working proficiency in English is a requirement, including the ability to read, write and speak in English.
Must live a commutable distance to Parsippany NJ

Responsibilities

Creates projects in LIMS based on quotes or existing projects
Creates bottle orders
Schedules courier as needed
Reviews sample logins
Generates subcontract paperwork
Sends client sample receipt confirmation
Reviews draft invoice
Confirms that any client needed information is recorded in LIMS
Creates and issues final deliverables
Reviews final invoice before issuing to client
Performs invoice corrections as needed
Provides coverage with client communication when Project Managers are out of the office
Assists with any other tasks as assigned
Demonstrates and promotes the company vision
Regular attendance and punctuality
Attend meetings within the laboratory
Cross-training and/or assisting other departments
