About The Position

As a Sample Management Technician in the Sample Management department, you will be responsible for the storage and timely provision of research samples to Cyprotex and Evotec projects. Both automated and manual systems will be employed to supply small molecules and larger biological modalities to scientists from internal and partner organisations. You will be primarily lab-based working collaboratively with our global Sample Management team and screening colleagues. You will deliver to agreed service levels with a strong customer focus, while contributing to the continuous improvement of our industry-leading capability.

  • Must monitor and maintain stock consumables, communicating with internal buyers and external suppliers.
  • Must ensure accurate and complete documentation of all activities as required by relevant SOPs and Quality policies.
  • Must treat all colleagues with dignity and respect.
  • Must participate in initiatives to improve group processes and make efficiency gains in Sample Management processes.
  • Must ensure work is performed to an exceptionally high standard, within specified time frames, ensuring safety regulations and QC procedures are strictly adhered to.
  • Must ensure appropriate Health and Safety procedures are always followed in the workplace.
  • Must participate in all training required to perform effectively in job role.
  • Must ensure that personal training record is up to date and that any gaps are discussed with supervisor.
  • Must complete time-sheets on time and in accordance with guidance from Finance.
  • Must actively participate in Evotalks and agree on personal targets and expectations with supervisor.
