About The Position

Responsible for creating samples according to Design team specifications.

Requirements

• HS Diploma or GED
• Knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures within the field.
• SAP experience
• CAD experience.
• Ability to handle the stress of working with others.
• Availability outside of normal business hours.
• Ability to lead by example

• Relevant work experience may be considered in lieu of education requirement.

Responsibilities

• Operate cutting table to cut out mockups.
• Prepare assembly instruction sheets.
• Assemble, fill, and ship mockups for customer.
• Develop a working knowledge of, and utilize design/CAD software, including shippers, fillers etc.
• Set personal goals to improve knowledge of total operations of the design department.
• Organize and maintain customer sample products.
• Provide feedback on possible design improvements or corrections for samples and prototypes.
• Organize and maintain shop along with cleanliness.
• Maintain all sample shop machines as needed.
• Order all material and hardware as needed.
• Receive and ship samples/materials.
• Other duties as assigned.
