Sensient is growing! The Natural Color Expansion is here. We are seeking a Sample Lab Technician to join our growing team! This role will be an integral part of ensuring our customers our product samples in a timely manner.

Requirements

High school education or equivalent.
Ability to prioritize.
Ability to perform efficiently and amicably while working on multiple projects simultaneously.
Ability to lift 50 pounds.
Ability to work in a laboratory environment.
Execution/Results Driven, Develops Self & Others, Customer Focus.
Collaborative spirit, effective communication skills, computer experience, and attention to detail.
Ability to execute, multi-task and thrive in an extremely fast paced, high growth environment.
Authorized to work in the United States without the need for employment visa sponsorship.

Nice To Haves

Ability to operate a fork-lift is a plus.
Experience working in a food GMP environment is a plus.

Responsibilities

Provide all necessary samples using appropriate equipment and procedures.
Prepare all sample requests, print labels, and print all related documentation included in packages sent to customers.
Manages physical inventory and virtually inventory for sample room stock.
Assists with procuring inventory from our manufacturing facility.
Builds and maintains relationships with employees and colleagues in a professional and personable manner adhering to the highest degree of professional standards and strict confidentiality on matters that require discretion.
Notify Sample Supervisor of any known delays or problems.
Provides back up for other Sample Room functions.
Seek to improve ways and methods to become more efficient and better serve the customer, both internal and external.
