About The Position

Aquatek Labs is seeking a Part-time Sample Courier/Driver to join their team. This role involves driving a company-supplied vehicle on a daily route to pick up water and radon samples from customer sites and deliver them to the Woodbridge laboratory. The position requires reliability and punctuality, as sample integrity and timely delivery are crucial. It is suitable for individuals who enjoy working independently, being on the road, and prefer steady daytime hours with no evening or overnight work. The company provides the vehicle, fuel, and training.

Requirements

• Valid driver’s license and a clean motor vehicle record.
• Live within a reasonable commute of Woodbridge, CT.
• Available approximately 3 days per week between 7:00 AM and 5:00 PM, including Saturdays, with flexibility as route volume changes.
• Able to lift and carry coolers weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Comfortable using a smartphone for navigation and route updates.
• Familiarity with Connecticut roads and good navigational sense.
• Reliable and self-directed.

Nice To Haves

• Previous delivery, courier, or route driving experience is a plus but is not required.
• No CDL needed.

Responsibilities

• Pick up and deliver samples on an assigned route, primarily within Connecticut.
• Handle samples carefully and follow chain of custody and preservation procedures.
• Keep accurate pickup records and paperwork for each stop.
• Represent Aquatek professionally and courteously at customer locations.
• Keep the company vehicle clean, fueled, and road ready, and report any maintenance needs promptly.
• Follow all traffic laws and safe driving practices.
• Stay in communication with the lab throughout the day as routes change.

Benefits
