Sample Coordinator
About The Position
Eurofins Food Chemistry Madison is seeking a Sample Coordinator to join their growing team. This role involves learning sample accession tasks such as opening, entering, tracking, labeling, and disposition of food, dietary supplements, and micro samples. The Sample Coordinator will also learn to coordinate with Client Service Coordinators to establish or update customer service procedures, communicate discrepancies, and handle internal customer inquiries. Proficiency in the LabWare Laboratory Information System (LIMS) will be developed. The company operates in a brand new ISO 17025 accredited laboratory in Madison, WI, specializing in food chemistry testing for infant formula, sole-source nutrition products, hemp and CBD, dietary supplements, and botanicals. They utilize advanced instrumentation and offer an innovative and collaborative team environment with opportunities for professional development.
Requirements
- Ability to identify and communicate client’s service needs.
- Ability to learn new tasks.
- Ability to think critically and solve problems quickly and efficiently.
- A minimum of an Associate degree (in related science is preferred).
- Experience may be substituted for education.
- Working knowledge of computers.
- Must reside within a commutable distance to Madison, WI.

Responsibilities
- Learn sample accession tasks including opening, entering, tracking, labeling, and disposition of samples.
- Coordinate with Client Service Coordinators to establish or update customer service procedures, with guidance, as appropriate.
- Communicate discrepancies to appropriate personnel and assist with problem solving.
- Handle internal customer inquiries, solve problems with assistance, and contact internal clients for clarification as needed.
- Learn LabWare Laboratory Information System (NIMS) and how to use it in daily duties.
