Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
- 6+ years of progressive State Income Tax / SALT experience
- Active California CPA license, OR active law license/JD, OR IPT certification
- Strong state income and franchise tax knowledge
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work 3 days per week onsite in Los Angeles
Responsibilities
- Manage state income and franchise tax compliance and consulting projects.
- Review and prepare state tax returns and related filings.
- Perform tax research and prepare technical memos and client communications.
- Assist clients with state tax audits.
- Manage multiple client engagements, deadlines, and deliverables.
- Lead, mentor, and develop tax staff.
- Support client relationships and business development activities.
