About The Position

At JCPenney Salon, we believe great salon leaders shouldn’t have to choose between leading a team and being a stylist. As a Salon Manager, you get the best of both worlds: the opportunity to coach, inspire, and grow a talented salon team while continuing to build your own clientele and earn commission behind the chair. You’ll play a key role in creating an exceptional salon experience, developing future beauty professionals, growing the business, and helping your team reach their full potential. You can work up to 8–16 hours per week behind the chair, depending on salon volume, while earning 50% commission on your service sales and 10% commission on retail sold with a service. This role is for a passionate stylist ready to take the next step or an experienced salon leader looking for an opportunity to stay connected to the craft.
