Salon Manager (Licensed Cosmetologist) — Drybar Richmond
About The Position
Drybar Richmond is seeking a licensed cosmetologist to lead their established, busy shop. This is a hands-on leadership role where you will spend approximately 70% of your time behind the chair delivering exceptional Drybar services while coaching your team, helping drive business results, and creating an outstanding guest experience. The role involves leading daily shop operations, inspiring the team, coaching and developing stylists and front desk members, recruiting, hiring, onboarding, and retaining talent, driving memberships, retail sales, guest loyalty, and overall shop performance, and maintaining Drybar's standards for service, hospitality, and cleanliness.
Requirements
- Holds an active cosmetology license
- Has leadership experience as a lead stylist, educator, assistant manager, or salon manager—or is ready to take that next step
- Loves doing hair and enjoys developing people
- Leads with positivity, accountability, and professionalism
- Is comfortable coaching performance, recognizing success, and having difficult conversations when needed
- Wants to make a lasting impact on both the team and the business
