About The Position
Drybar Richmond is seeking a licensed cosmetologist to lead their established and busy salon. This is a full-time leadership position where the manager will spend approximately 70% of their time behind the chair delivering services, while also coaching the team, driving business results, and ensuring an outstanding guest experience. The role offers the opportunity to lead a high-volume location, mentor a team, and contribute to business growth within a multi-unit organization.
Requirements
- Holds an active cosmetology license
- Has leadership experience as a lead stylist, educator, assistant manager, or salon manager—or is ready to take that next step
- Loves doing hair and enjoys developing people
- Leads with positivity, accountability, and professionalism
- Comfortable coaching performance, recognizing success, and having difficult conversations when needed
- Wants to make a lasting impact on both the team and the business
- Leadership potential is valued as much as previous management experience
Responsibilities
- Deliver exceptional Drybar services behind the chair
- Lead daily shop operations and inspire the team
- Coach, mentor, and develop stylists and front desk team members
- Recruit, hire, onboard, and retain talent
- Help drive memberships, retail sales, guest loyalty, and overall shop performance
- Maintain Drybar's standards for service, hospitality, and cleanliness
