About The Position

Crossroads Equipment Lease & Finance, LLC, a subsidiary of Velocity Vehicle group, is seeking a Salesperson for its operations. Crossroads specializes in commercial medium and heavy-duty truck financing and leasing, offering operating and finance leases as well as direct financing to commercial customers. The company has experienced significant growth and expanded its finance products nationwide. The Salesperson role is crucial for defining strategic goals, building customer relationships, identifying business opportunities, negotiating deals, and maintaining market knowledge. This role requires a self-motivated individual ready for daily challenges and committed to superior customer service.

Requirements

B.A. preferred
Minimum of four or five (4-5) years of experience
Excellent business sense.
Excellent Interpersonal skills, communication skills, negotiation skills and customer service skills
Self-motivated
Excellent time management skills
Effectively reacts to management requirements in a timely manner
Must be able to pass post-offer drug screening, physical examination, and background check

Responsibilities

Prospects for new clients by networking, advertising, cold calling, and other means of generating interest from potential clients.
Locates or proposes potential business deals by contacting potential partners, discovering and exploring opportunities.
Conducts research to identify new markets and customer needs.
Attends industry functions, such as association events and conferences to establish new and maintain current relationships with clients for future business.
Develops rapport with new clients; builds key customer relationships and continues to grow business in the future.
Grows and retains existing accounts by presenting new solutions and services offered to clients.
Develops a robust pipeline of transactions.
Provides support that continually improves the customer relationship.
Closes new business deals by coordinating requirements and developing and negotiating contracts.
Protects organization's value by keeping information confidential.
Screens potential business deals by analyzing deal requirements and financials.
Increases sales opportunities and thereby maximizes revenue for the organization.
Works with technical staff and other internal colleagues to meet customer needs.
Identifies opportunities for campaigns, services, and distribution channels that will lead to an increase in sales.
Selects employees for hire and disciplines employees.
Provides training, scheduling, assigning, coaching, counseling to employees.
Communicates job expectations and monitors progress.
Appraises and reviews job contributions.
Conducts annual compensation reviews.
Enforces policies and procedures.
Maintains excellent customer service standards.
Communicates customer service standards to department personnel.
Resolves customer complaints and provides conflict resolution to customers.
Visits customers to provide and maintain excellent customer relations.
