About The Position

As a Salesperson in an Omni Metalcraft division, you will play a crucial role in driving our sales efforts. You will be responsible for making daily sales calls, conducting customer research, and developing long-term sales plans. Additionally, you will quote existing opportunities and build customer relationships for new opportunities. Occasional presentations to customers on product offerings and Omni’s capabilities will be required.

Requirements

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools.
  • Previous sales experience.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Willingness to learn conveyors, rollers, and material handling basics.
  • Openness to understanding quoting, pricing, and product availability.
  • Ability to grasp product applications and customer needs in key industries.
  • Comfort learning to read basic mechanical drawings and product specs.
  • Interest in staying current on market trends and customer challenges.
  • Ability to make effective sales calls and presentations.
  • Capability to conduct thorough customer research.
  • Skill in developing and executing long-term sales plans.
  • Competence in quoting opportunities and building customer relationships.

  • Contact potential and existing customers via phone and email (cold calling).
