About The Position

Motorola Solutions is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Salesforce Technical Product Owner to lead and drive their Sales Cloud initiatives. This role focuses on technical leadership, managing complex solution designs, and overseeing architectural governance to ensure a scalable and stable Salesforce environment. The IT organization plays a critical role in driving business results through innovative thinking and integrity, partnering with other business areas to solve problems and accelerate change.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 8 years of professional experience, with at least 5-6 years as a Salesforce Technical Product Owner or Salesforce Consultant, specializing in Sales Cloud.
  • Bachelor's degree or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • Strong understanding of sales business processes and the ability to align technical solutions with business needs.
  • Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to build strong relationships with business stakeholders.
  • Proven track record of leading technical teams through complex Salesforce projects/programs, architectural reviews.
  • Legal authorization to work in the U.S. indefinitely is required.

Responsibilities

  • Develop a clear technical product strategy and multi-year vision for Salesforce, defining the product's long-term roadmap while ensuring alignment with the overall business strategy.
  • Collaborate and lead Sales projects and programs by coordinating with cross-functional IT teams and business partners.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to design and deploy custom solutions that integrate seamlessly with existing systems, transforming business requirements into clear and actionable technical specifications.
  • Enforce architectural design reviews and governance frameworks to prevent platform disruptions, ensuring all shared objects and permissions are identified before implementation.
  • Identify and prioritize opportunities for code cleanup, component redesign, and technical debt reduction to maintain environment stability and improve system usability.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert for Salesforce Sales Cloud, continuously deepening expertise on platform features and functionalities to facilitate ongoing improvements.
  • Champion the needs of end-users by providing comprehensive training, support, and guidance to ensure they fully leverage Salesforce capabilities and adhere to best practices.
  • Bring a data-driven approach to the product and provide insights into how the product is performing and capturing business value. Using those data insights, prioritize effectively to drive the product forward using data insights to make decisions for the product.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams in the successful delivery of product enhancements, ensuring the timely delivery of solutions that align with customer satisfaction and business goals.
  • Generate and surface key emerging customer trends that MSI should be thinking about to better serve stakeholders by researching and assessing trends and emerging technologies to deliver insights and value.
  • Work directly with cross-functional engineering pods, ensuring that technical requirements and foundational Salesforce knowledge are vetted and met throughout the sprint lifecycle.
