About The Position

CloudMasonry is a full-service Salesforce consultancy with multi-cloud expertise, serving enterprise clients through onshore, collaborative teams. Senior consultants shape the solution, and we were the first Salesforce consultancy to build AI into a complete delivery methodology that keeps requirements, documentation, and reporting moving, so our teams spend more time with clients. With offices in the US and UK, 65+ consultants holding 350+ Salesforce certifications, 559+ completed projects, a 4.9 CSAT, and an 89% repeat-client rate, CloudMasonry works with enterprise clients on their most complex Salesforce programs. A Salesforce Technical Architect at CloudMasonry is a consulting role tailored for individuals with extensive experience in architecting and developing custom solutions on the Salesforce platform and a proven ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders and team members. The candidate should be adept at discovering innovative technology solutions to meet client needs efficiently. A commitment to being a self-motivated learner of new technologies or related skills is essential. Prior hands-on Salesforce experience is required, and existing Salesforce technical certifications are mandatory. This is a remote position open to candidates who currently live in the United States. We are unable to consider applicants based outside the US.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of hands-on Salesforce development and technical delivery, including 2+ years in a consulting environment; we hire at multiple levels and match scope to experience
  • Experience as the technical lead on complex enterprise implementations with multiple business units, stakeholder groups, and connected systems
  • Deep expertise in Apex, LWC, and Flow, and good judgment about when to use configuration and when to write code
  • Strong understanding of platform limits and performance, including governor limits, asynchronous processing (Batch, Queueable, Platform Events), and large data volumes
  • Integration design experience with REST and SOAP APIs, Platform Events, Change Data Capture, and middleware such as MuleSoft or Informatica
  • Experience designing Salesforce sharing and security models
  • A strong foundation in object-oriented programming and common design patterns (Apex, Java, Python, or similar), plus working knowledge of relational databases and SQL
  • Hands-on experience with Git-based source control, Salesforce DX, CI/CD pipelines, and automated testing, including well-structured Apex unit tests
  • Experience working in Agile or Scrum teams
  • Strong client-facing communication skills and confidence leading technical workshops and design reviews
  • Familiarity with CRM, ERP, and other common enterprise business applications
  • Required Certification: Salesforce Platform Developer II.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with business processes in areas such as quote-to-cash, service, or sales operations is a plus
  • Experience maintaining legacy Visualforce and Aura code is a plus
  • Preferred Certifications: Salesforce System Architect or Application Architect.

Responsibilities

  • Own technical design and delivery for your engagements or workstreams, from discovery through release, either as the lead architect or alongside a Solution Architect
  • Design scalable, secure, maintainable solutions using Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Flow, and integrations, preferring configuration and using custom code where it is the better long-term answer
  • Design the integration and data architecture, including API and event-driven patterns, middleware approach, data migration, and handling of large data volumes
  • Turn business requirements and user stories into technical designs and specifications that developers can build from
  • Act as a technical advisor to client stakeholders, explaining design trade-offs, platform constraints, and risks to technical and non-technical audiences
  • Oversee delivery quality through code reviews, design reviews, and development standards, making sure what gets built matches the design
  • Own the development lifecycle for your workstreams, including environment strategy, version control, CI/CD (continuous integration and delivery), testing, and deployment
  • Give developers and consultants hands-on technical guidance and mentorship, including troubleshooting and performance tuning
  • Work closely with Engagement Managers, Project Managers, Business Analysts, and delivery teams, and actively manage technical risks, assumptions, and dependencies
  • Support pre-sales by scoping technical solutions, estimating effort, and explaining the proposed approach to prospective clients
  • Look for ways to improve solution quality, delivery efficiency, and technical standards across engagements
