About The Position

Perficient is seeking a Salesforce Technical Architect to join our growing Salesforce practice. In this strategic leadership role, you will be responsible for designing and delivering enterprise Salesforce solutions that align business objectives with scalable, secure, and high-performing architectures. You will provide technical leadership across the full project lifecycle, including solution architecture, integrations, data strategy, AI capabilities, custom development oversight, and deployment planning. As a trusted advisor, you will partner closely with clients, stakeholders, and delivery teams to drive successful business outcomes while ensuring best practices and technical excellence. The ideal candidate combines deep Salesforce architecture expertise with strong consulting, communication, and leadership skills to guide complex digital transformation initiatives. Midwest-based candidates are strongly preferred. This role requires travel to Detroit, MI approximately once per month for several days at a time to support client engagements, facilitate workshops, conduct architecture reviews, and contribute to project delivery activities. Requirements

  • 8+ years of Salesforce experience with expertise in Apex, LWC, APIs, integrations, and solution architecture.
  • Strong Salesforce Core experience, including Sales Cloud and Service Cloud.
  • Hands-on experience with Salesforce Data Cloud.
  • Experience implementing Agentforce and Salesforce AI capabilities.
  • Proven success designing and delivering complex multi-cloud Salesforce solutions.
  • Strong knowledge of integration architecture, event-driven design, and middleware platforms.
  • Experience with data migration, governance, and enterprise data strategies.
  • Exceptional consulting, communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with both executive and technical audiences.
  • Demonstrated use of AI tools to improve productivity and delivery outcomes.
  • Understanding of AI governance, limitations, and ethical considerations.
  • Professional services or consulting experience preferred.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

  • Design scalable Salesforce solutions across Salesforce Core, Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Experience Cloud, Data Cloud, Agentforce, and custom applications.
  • Lead architecture discussions, technical design sessions, and client workshops.
  • Define solution architectures, integration strategies, and technical specifications.
  • Design integrations using APIs, Platform Events, CDC, MuleSoft, and related technologies.
  • Architect Data Cloud solutions including data ingestion, identity resolution, segmentation, and activation.
  • Lead Agentforce and AI-powered solution design and implementation.
  • Define data models, migration strategies, and ETL processes.
  • Oversee custom development using Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), and platform capabilities.
  • Ensure adherence to development standards, security best practices, and performance optimization.
  • Drive DevOps and CI/CD processes, including automated testing and release management.
  • Serve as a trusted technical advisor to client stakeholders.
  • Support pre-sales efforts including discovery, solutioning, estimation, and proof-of-concept activities.
  • Mentor development teams and promote architectural excellence.

A reasonable estimate of the current salary range for this position is $150,000 to $195,000.
