This role serves as the Tech team lead for Salesforce platform applications and leads Salesforce implementation for delivery for Americas systems. It involves leading the migration of legacy applications to Salesforce and managing a team to handle build, run & maintenance activities of the Salesforce platform. There is a close alignment with other tech leads on architecture with a strong focus on reusability, and a championing of AI-enabled software development, testing, and deployment.

Requirements

• This position requires a minimum of 5 years of overall work experience.
• Information Technology
• Bachelor's Degree's is required.
• Deep Salesforce (Sales, Service, Marketing) , related Integration tools, data knowledge
• In-depth know-how in financial service system design and implementation
• Broad knowledge of business processes in financial services related to operations
• Experience with related analytics, DevOps, team management
• Experience with IT management, Agile in intercultural organizations
• Good leadership and communication skills

Nice To Haves

• Recommended majors include: Computer/Information Science
• Certified Salesforce Developer, Certified Salesforce Administrator
• Multiple Salesforce, Mulesoft certification(s) such as Architecture, Dev etc
• 2 years' experience in leading Salesforce dev teams, design/arch/scrum teams
• 5 years experience in Salesforce tech delivery including hands on config, coding
• Experience in large Salesforce implementation projects a plus
• Hands on experience in Salesforce; Sales /Service/ Marketing
• Experience in a multicultural team in a financial services or an automotive environment
• Financial services domain Knowledge is a plus
• Salesforce Developer; Sr Software Engineer; Technical team lead

Responsibilities

• Lead the build of Originations product area(s) incorporating the design & transformation of existing applications landscapes (50%)
• Ensure stable, robust, scalable Salesforce integration platform with consideration of cost-efficiency and cost transparency. Planning, controlling, monitoring of the IT operation & escalation management.
• Ensure compliant IT operations, adequate application, infrastructure portfolio based on Mercedes-Benz standards (20%)
• Help establish & manage the IT Integration team for the specific Business area(s) (10%)
• Manage timely issue solving, good collaboration.
• Negotiate SLAs & contracts with internal and external partner (10%)
• Information Security & Data Protection, risk management & compliance ensure adherence to IT security concepts based on corporate IT standards (10%)
