About The Position

Pierce Washington helps clients transform their quote-to-cash process and is creating a next-generation Total Commerce Company. The Salesforce Practice is focused on delivering Salesforce Revenue Cloud solutions to clients in the High Tech and Manufacturing industries. This role involves managing enterprise-level projects, acting as a hands-on business analyst, and serving as the main client contact to understand project expectations and business processes. The position requires driving projects to completion on time and within budget, leading teams through an Agile SDLC, and ensuring client satisfaction and company profitability.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of Salesforce industry experience in a consulting capacity as a Business Analyst and/or Project Manager working with the Sales Cloud and/or Service Cloud.
  • Must have experience managing enterprise-level projects.
  • 2+ years of hands-on experience managing Enterprise Salesforce CPQ projects that were at least 6 months in duration and included data migrations and integrations with ERP systems.
  • Proven expert in Agile SDLC project management theories, practices, and methods.
  • Ability to serve as a liaison between both business and technical teams to drive effective, timely solutions that fulfill both strategic and operational needs.
  • Experienced in executing gap analysis and requirements traceability matrices.
  • Excellent client-facing written and oral communication skills.
  • Ability to pivot and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to challenge, innovate, lead and drive projects to close.
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, computer science or information systems.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with Salesforce org consolidation/migration projects.
  • Experienced with Visio, Jira, Confluence, Prodly, Copado, or similar tools.
  • Experience in the High Tech or Manufacturing industries.
  • PMP certification.
  • Active Salesforce certifications or ability to achieve relevant certifications upon hire within the first several months.
  • Preferred Salesforce certifications: Administrator.

Responsibilities

  • Create and execute project work plans and revise as appropriate to meet changing needs and requirements.
  • Lead or co-lead business analyst functions including discovery workshops, documenting requirements (process flow diagrams, user stories), developing implementation estimates and plans, designing user story test scripts, and participating in end-user acceptance testing.
  • Manage the day-to-day operational aspects of the project and scope, the overall client relationship, and demonstrate respect and responsiveness to client needs.
  • Cultivate and manage highly functional teams through all phases of an Agile Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC).
  • Manage project deliverables, financials, and schedule to ensure the project stays on track.
  • Monitor project status and assess risk in process, people, and/or technology and adjust project plans accordingly.
  • Perform impact analysis for scope change requests and document changes to requirements.
  • Serve as an expert in Agile methodology to effectively apply delivery methodology and enforce project standards.
  • Ensure successful completion of project deliverables, cost, and timelines.
  • Maintain a sense of ownership as it pertains to client satisfaction, company profitability, and project team resource workload.
  • Provide clear and effective communication on risks, scope changes, and an understanding of change management techniques and processes.
