About The Position
This role is for one of Weekday's clients. We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Salesforce Senior Developer / Lead Developer to take on a leadership position within our team. This individual will serve as the technical cornerstone for Salesforce initiatives, leading the design of scalable solutions, overseeing enterprise-level implementations and integrations, and promoting best development practices. The ideal candidate must possess extensive expertise in Salesforce development, architecture, integrations, and stakeholder management. Proficiency with Salesforce Health Cloud is essential.
Requirements
- Technical Expertise: Apex Development, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Aura Components, Visualforce, JavaScript, SOQL / SOSL, Salesforce CLI, VS Code, Salesforce DX
- Integration & DevOps Skills: REST / SOAP APIs, Middleware and External System Integrations, Data Migration Frameworks, CI/CD Pipelines, DevOps Tools, Release Management and Deployment Automation
- Salesforce Clouds Experience: Health Cloud (Required), Sales Cloud, Service Cloud
- Additional Competencies: Solution Design and Scalable Architecture, Security and Sharing Models, Performance Optimization, Agile Methodologies, Leadership and Team Mentoring, Stakeholder Management
- Mandatory Certifications: Salesforce Platform Developer I, Salesforce Platform Developer II

Responsibilities
- Design and develop scalable Salesforce solutions that meet business requirements.
- Lead Salesforce development efforts including Apex, LWC, integrations, and customizations.
- Offer technical and architectural guidance throughout projects.
- Implement best practices for coding standards, governance, security, and DevOps processes.
- Collaborate closely with business stakeholders, architects, and cross-functional teams.
- Perform code reviews to ensure high-quality deliverables.
- Create and manage integrations with external systems and APIs.
- Troubleshoot production issues and enhance platform performance.
- Mentor junior developers and foster team development.
- Develop and maintain technical documentation and implementation standards.
- Keep updated with the latest Salesforce releases and emerging technologies.
