About The Position

Agility is seeking a talented and energetic Scrum Master to lead projects, develop team synergy, and drive business impact. Agility supports federal customers with their Salesforce application and business process needs. This is a remote position.

Requirements

  • Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or Certified Scrum Coach (CTC)
  • A minimum of three (3) years of experience focusing on business architecture analysis and UX/UI Design inclusive of:
  • A minimum of three (3) years’ experience in building business process models, writing acceptance criteria, and designing user interfaces for a production system.
  • Salesforce Administration experience
  • MUST HAVE!!! DHS & U.S. Customs and Border Protection Project experience
  • Strong understanding of the fundamentals of Agile, iterative development and the Scrum ceremonies.
  • Flexible approach and proven record of having a positive impact.
  • Highly effective facilitator and collaborator.
  • Strong focus on empowering others and leading teams to self-organize.
  • Expert facilitator and collaborator.
  • Experience as a Scrum Master with 3+ years with a software development team.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Good understanding of SAAS applications – Salesforce experience preferred
  • Strong understanding of software development lifecycle and agile tools.
  • Experience working in a continuous integration/continuous deployment environment.

Responsibilities

  • Guide the scrum teams and organization to follow generally accepted Agile/Engaged development practices and daily activity.
  • Actively promote prioritization, team readiness, and commitment for each sprint.
  • Partner with Product Owner(s) to ensure continuous refinement of the product backlog across multiple initiatives.
  • Partner with Program and Portfolio managers to ensure delivery is consistent with roadmap expectations and broader initiatives.
  • Communicate delivery of work product from the scrum teams and escalate key risks and issues impeding scrum team effectiveness.
  • Adhere to existing Software Development Lifecycle and release processes, to ensure all risk, security, and development requirements are met.
  • Facilitate and own the Scrum ceremonies for the scrum team(s).
  • Play a role in driving Scrum adoption across all levels in the organization.
