About The Position

This strategic, highly collaborative individual, as part of the Information Technology team, is responsible for the end-to-end ownership, vision, and delivery of Watts’ Salesforce platform. This role drives alignment between business needs, customer experience, and technology strategy while ensuring the platform delivers scalable, high-quality solutions that enable sales and commercial success. This position reports to the VP, Customer and Commercial Platforms. This role can be remote and based in the East Coast US region, with travel as required.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
  • 7+ years of experience with Salesforce platform solutions, including Sales Cloud and Service Cloud
  • Strong understanding of Salesforce data models, standard functionality, and platform capabilities
  • Experience operating as a product owner or in a similar platform ownership role
  • Proven experience delivering complex technology solutions using Agile or SAFe methodologies
  • Experience managing multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced, matrixed environment
  • Strong stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration skills
  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Experience working across geographically dispersed and virtual teams
  • Ability to translate business needs into technical requirements and actionable deliverables
  • Understanding of systems development lifecycle and project delivery frameworks
  • Understanding of and adherence to applicable laws, codes, policies, regulations, and safety practices and procedures, as applicable
  • Must successfully establish employment eligibility and satisfactorily complete background checks and any required pre-employment testing as a condition of employment

Responsibilities

  • Own and execute the Salesforce platform roadmap aligned to business, customer, and IT strategy
  • Serve as the primary product owner for Salesforce, managing backlog, prioritization, and feature delivery
  • Define, maintain, and communicate platform vision, roadmap, and release plans
  • Lead Agile product management processes, including sprint planning, backlog grooming, and stakeholder alignment
  • Partner with business stakeholders to understand needs, define requirements, and deliver scalable solutions
  • Act as the primary liaison between business teams and technical delivery teams
  • Advocate for business needs while ensuring adherence to platform architecture and governance standards
  • Deliver projects on time, within budget, and in alignment with defined scope and quality standards
  • Identify risks, manage scope changes, and proactively communicate project status and challenges
  • Define user stories, acceptance criteria, and ensure successful validation of delivered solutions
  • Plan release capacity and prioritize features to maximize business value
  • Align product initiatives with enterprise architecture and overall technology strategy
  • Monitor platform performance and service levels, identifying opportunities for continuous improvement
  • Build strong relationships across cross-functional teams, including IT, sales, and customer experience
  • Act as a trusted advisor to stakeholders on Salesforce capabilities and opportunities
  • Evaluate new Salesforce products and features to drive innovation and value creation
  • Support business case development and investment prioritization
  • Maintain current knowledge of Salesforce capabilities, trends, and best practices
  • Contribute to overall team success through collaboration and execution of additional responsibilities as needed
  • Assume responsibility for other projects and duties as assigned by the VP, Customer and Commercial Platforms or Company management.
