About The Position

We are seeking a Salesforce Marketing Cloud Developer to design and deliver scalable, data-driven marketing solutions. This role contributes to the development and execution of digital marketing capabilities, supporting campaign automation, personalization, and customer engagement initiatives under general guidance.

Requirements

  • Hands-on experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud capabilities
  • Working knowledge of Email Studio, Journey Builder, Automation Studio, and Contact Builder
  • Experience with AMPscript, SQL, and HTML/CSS for email development and personalization
  • Understanding of marketing automation concepts, customer journeys, and campaign lifecycle
  • Experience with data segmentation, data extensions, and subscriber management
  • Familiarity with integrations between Marketing Cloud and CRM platforms (Salesforce preferred)
  • Exposure to APIs and data exchange concepts
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional team environment
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
  • Degree or equivalent experience
  • Typically requires 4+ years of relevant experience

Nice To Haves

  • Salesforce Marketing Cloud certifications (e.g., Email Specialist, Marketing Cloud Developer)
  • Experience integrating Marketing Cloud with Sales Cloud / Service Cloud
  • Familiarity with customer data platforms (CDPs) or enterprise data ecosystems
  • Experience with personalization and segmentation strategies at scale
  • Exposure to REST/SOAP APIs and middleware platforms (e.g., MuleSoft)

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement solutions within Salesforce Marketing Cloud (Email Studio, Journey Builder, Automation Studio, Contact Builder)
  • Translate business and marketing requirements into technical solutions with guidance from senior team members
  • Build and optimize customer journeys, email campaigns, and automations
  • Develop dynamic, personalized communications using AMPscript, SQL, and Marketing Cloud scripting tools
  • Perform data segmentation, audience targeting, and list management activities
  • Support integrations between Marketing Cloud and other systems (e.g., Salesforce CRM, external data sources)
  • Execute and support campaign deployments, ensuring quality and adherence to timelines
  • Troubleshoot campaign, data, and automation issues and provide timely resolution
  • Participate in testing, validation, and deployment activities
  • Ensure compliance with enterprise data governance, privacy, and security standards
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including marketing, CRM, analytics, and IT
