About The Position

AriensCo is excited to be hiring a Salesforce Functional Lead based in Brillion, WI. This role is a key connector between business stakeholders and technical teams, leading functional design and delivery across all Salesforce Clouds. The Functional Lead turns business needs into scalable, best‑practice Salesforce solutions, partners closely with leaders and cross‑functional teams to deliver meaningful value through Agile or hybrid models, and helps ensure strong governance, quality, and user adoption. This position also plays an important role in mentoring and developing team members, making a lasting impact across the organization.

Requirements

  • Associate's Degree with a focus in Computer Science, Business Administration, or similar field; a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, or similar field is preferred
  • A minimum of 8 years of experience working with Salesforce in functional, analyst, or lead roles required
  • A minimum of 2 years in a lead or ownership capacity (Functional Lead, Product Owner, or Solution Lead) preferred
  • Hands on experience with one or more Salesforce Clouds such as Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Marketing Cloud and Commerce Cloud
  • Certifications in Salesforce Certified Administrator, Salesforce Advanced Administrator, Salesforce Sales Cloud, or Salesforce Business Analyst preferred
  • Experience supporting enterprise-scale Salesforce organizations and integrations
  • Strong understanding of Salesforce data models & security, declarative automation, and reporting and dashboards
  • Familiarity with Apex, APIs, and integrations, release management, sandbox strategies, and Salesforce performance considerations
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks, work on multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
  • Experience with change management and user adoption strategies
  • Experience building roadmaps and software/vendor evaluations and selections.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Exposure to enterprise integrations (ERP, billing, marketing automation, etc.)
  • Familiarity with DevOps tools

Responsibilities

  • Own functional leadership for Salesforce solutions, translating business needs into scalable, best‑practice designs across Salesforce clouds and integrated systems
  • Define and maintain business processes, data models, and functional architecture aligned to platform standards and roadmap
  • Partner with Salesforce champions within the business to gather, refine, and challenge requirements, driving standardization and value‑based outcomes
  • Lead functional delivery across Agile or hybrid projects, including user stories, acceptance criteria, sprint planning, and release execution
  • Collaborate closely with developers, architects, admins, and QA to validate configurations, automations, and declarative solutions
  • Establish and enforce Salesforce governance, change management, best practices, security, and data standards to ensure scalable, maintainable, and auditable solutions
  • Support change management, release governance, and continuous improvement by identifying technical debt and optimization opportunities
  • Establish and own user enablement and adoption through UAT leadership, training support, post‑deployment issue escalation, and feedback loops
  • Provide Salesforce admin support to the business and IT team
  • Evaluate new Salesforce features, releases, and AppExchange tools to maximize business value and mitigate system issues
  • Define and validate KPIs, dashboards, and reports to deliver actionable insights and support leadership decision-making
  • Mentor and guide team members and Salesforce champions, providing technical and functional leadership, fostering skill development, and supporting career growth through coaching and feedback.
