Requirements

  • Substantial Salesforce development experience, delivering solutions in complex environments
  • Proven ability to design for scale — considering architecture, maintainability, performance, and security
  • Hands-on expertise building custom capabilities (Apex development, Lightning Web Components, and modern Salesforce tooling)
  • Strong automation experience, knowing when to use Flow versus code-based solutions
  • Integration experience connecting Salesforce to third-party tools and platforms (e.g., Marketo, OneTrust, Gearset, HighSpot or similar)
  • Comfort troubleshooting and resolving issues end-to-end — from root cause analysis to fix, test, and release
  • A collaborative approach: you can translate requirements, guide stakeholders, and communicate clearly with technical and non-technical partners
  • An ownership mindset: you know when to escalate, when to lead independently, and how to deliver on commitments

Responsibilities

  • Architect solutions that translate business needs into strong Salesforce design patterns and platform best practices
  • Build and enhance custom functionality using Salesforce development tools (e.g., Apex, Lightning Web Components)
  • Automate workflows with Flow and code-based automation where it adds real value
  • Integrate systems using APIs (including REST and SOAP) and middleware tools to connect Salesforce across the business
  • Raise quality through code reviews, unit testing, and continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD) approaches
  • Maintain and optimize platform performance, reliability, and key capabilities (including Agentforce and Data Cloud)
  • Document and enable by creating clear technical documentation and supporting team learning through guidance and training
