About The Position

We are seeking a skilled Salesforce Developer to join our team. This role involves designing, developing, configuring, testing, and maintaining Salesforce applications. You will leverage your expertise in Salesforce technologies and object-oriented programming to create scalable, secure, and reusable solutions. The position requires participation in all phases of the software development lifecycle, from requirements gathering to production support, and involves collaboration with various stakeholders. This is an opportunity to drive development work from inception to implementation and contribute to complex, mission-critical applications.

Requirements

10+ years of professional IT/software development experience.
Minimum 5 years of hands-on Salesforce development experience.
Strong experience developing with Salesforce Apex and foundational OOP concepts.
Advanced knowledge of Salesforce development and design patterns.
Strong experience with: Apex, Lightning Pages/Components, Visualforce, SOQL, Salesforce Configuration, CRUD operations, Object-Oriented Programming, Design Patterns.
Experience with .NET OOP and Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA).
Strong SQL development and database knowledge.
Experience with end-to-end web application development.
Experience participating in all phases of the SDLC.
Strong analytical, abstract thinking, and problem-solving skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work independently, take ownership, and drive assignments from requirements through implementation.

Nice To Haves

Experience with JavaScript frameworks.
Experience integrating Salesforce with enterprise applications and external systems.
Experience working in large-scale government or enterprise environments.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, configure, test, and maintain Salesforce applications.
Develop solutions using Salesforce Apex, Lightning, Visualforce, SOQL, and Salesforce configuration.
Apply strong Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) concepts and software design patterns.
Participate in requirements gathering, analysis, design, development, testing, deployment, and support activities.
Drive development work from requirements through implementation.
Develop and maintain scalable, secure, and reusable Salesforce solutions.
Analyze integration requirements and support integration between Salesforce and external applications.
Perform full-stack web development across front-end, back-end, database, and integration layers.
Work with system integrators and technical teams to ensure successful knowledge transfer.
Troubleshoot application issues and provide ongoing production support.
Create and maintain technical documentation, design specifications, and development artifacts.
Mentor junior and less-experienced developers.
Collaborate with business stakeholders, technical teams, and agency management.
Follow established SDLC processes, coding standards, and development best practices.
