About The Position

This role involves developing APEX code and triggers, automating complex business processes using Salesforce Flow Builder, and creating test classes to ensure code coverage. The developer will also perform CI/CD activities, debug and correct existing code, and troubleshoot production issues. Key responsibilities include serving as the primary system administrator for the Salesforce.com environment, managing data feeds and integrations using Salesforce Data Loader, and coordinating the completion of new development requests. The position also requires assisting in training new users and enhancing the organization's Salesforce.com skill set.

Requirements

Must be a U.S. Citizen with the ability to pass CBP background investigation
College degree (B.S.) in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Management Systems or a related discipline. Equivalent professional experience will be considered in lieu of degree
Minimum three years of experience as a Salesforce.com developer
Salesforce.com developer certifications
Strong understanding of the platform, with the ability to build custom components to meet user requirements
Strong understanding of Salesforce.com best practices and functionality

Nice To Haves

Experience in creating Unlocked Packages is preferred, but not required
Previous experience working in a Scrum or Agile environment preferred

Responsibilities

Develop APEX code and triggers

Develop test classes to ensure minimum 75% code coverage
Perform CI/CD activities
Debug existing code base and take necessary corrective actions
Troubleshoot production issues and determine root cause
Serve as primary system administrator for the enterprise Salesforce.com environment
Work with Salesforce Data Loader for data updates
Manage Salesforce.com data feeds and other integrations
Coordinate the evaluation, scope and completion of new development requests
Work with institutional management team to establish suitable processes to support administrative development, and change management activities
Assist in training new users, and grow the Salesforce.com skill set across the organization
