About The Position

This role involves developing and maintaining the Salesforce.com environment, including coding, automation, data management, and integrations. The developer will serve as the primary system administrator, coordinate new development requests, and assist in training users to enhance the organization's Salesforce skills. The position requires a strong understanding of the Salesforce platform, best practices, and the ability to build custom components to meet user requirements. The role also involves troubleshooting production issues and ensuring code quality through testing.

Requirements

  • Must be a U.S. Citizen with the ability to pass CBP background investigation
  • College degree (B.S.) in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Management Systems or a related discipline. Equivalent professional experience will be considered in lieu of degree
  • Minimum three years of experience as a Salesforce.com developer
  • Salesforce.com developer certifications
  • Strong understanding of the platform, with the ability to build custom components to meet user requirements
  • Strong understanding of Salesforce.com best practices and functionality
  • Applicants selected must be able to possess and maintain a government clearance
  • US CITIZENSHIP REQUIRED

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in creating Unlocked Packages is preferred, but not required
  • Previous experience working in a Scrum or Agile environment preferred

Responsibilities

  • Develop APEX code and triggers
  • Automate complex business processes with Salesforce Flow Builder
  • Develop test classes to ensure minimum 75% code coverage
  • Perform CI/CD activities
  • Debug existing code base and take necessary corrective actions
  • Troubleshoot production issues and determine root cause
  • Serve as primary system administrator for the enterprise Salesforce.com environment
  • Work with Salesforce Data Loader for data updates
  • Manage Salesforce.com data feeds and other integrations
  • Coordinate the evaluation, scope and completion of new development requests
  • Work with institutional management team to establish suitable processes to support administrative development, and change management activities
  • Assist in training new users, and grow the Salesforce.com skill set across the organization
