About The Position

SAIC has an opportunity for a Salesforce Developer/Team Lead to join a team of professionals providing support to complex development, maintenance, test, and production development environments. This role supports a State Department customer who has a large portfolio of new and legacy systems managed in a scaled Agile Framework approach. The role is hybrid and would report onsite in the DC area at least 1 day/week and when required for specific activities.

Requirements

  • Salesforce development experience
  • Experience with APEX Class, Triggers, Visualforce pages, Lightning components
  • Experience with Salesforce automation tools (Process Builder, Workflows, Formulas, Flow, Assignment Rules, email Alerts)
  • Experience building integrations using REST, SOAP APIs, oAuth and Single Sign-On
  • Experience participating in daily scrum meetings
  • Experience analyzing user stories and identifying/resolving gaps
  • Adherence to defined coding standards
  • Ability to write well-structured, maintainable, and easy-to-understand code
  • Experience performing independent code reviews
  • Experience writing unit/integration test cases to achieve 85% test coverage
  • Ability to effectively debug and resolve issues/defects

Responsibilities

  • Oversee a team of Salesforce developers who are working on various projects.
  • Develop end-to-end Salesforce solutions using Configuration and Customization (APEX Class, Triggers, Visualforce pages, Lightning components etc.).
  • Automate business processes using Salesforce automation tools, such as Process Builder, Workflows, Formulas, Flow, Assignment Rules and email Alerts.
  • Build integrations between Salesforce and external applications using REST, SOAP APIs, oAuth and Single Sign-On, etc.
  • Participate in daily scrum meetings, analyze assign user stories, identify/resolve gaps in functional user stories/business requirements.
  • Adhere to defined coding standards and develop well-structured, maintainable and easy to understand code.
  • Perform independent code reviews and write unit/integration test cases to achieve 85% test coverage.
  • Ability to effectively debug and resolve issues and/or defects which may be reported because of faults in the production system.
