About The Position

AmeriHealth Caritas is seeking a dynamic Senior Salesforce Developer to join our fast-growing Member Services Salesforce Team. In this role, you will use your ‘can do attitude’, strong Salesforce technical knowledge to deliver and build solutions on AmeriHealth’s Member CRM Salesforce platform. As a team member of Member CRM Team, you will analyze, develop, deliver and triage in the highly challenging and rewarding Healthcare domain and be a critical part of the future of Healthcare IT at AmeriHealth Caritas. The Senior Salesforce Developer will work in Salesforce Development and Delivery team which supports complex development effort and implementations related to Member CRM, integrations, and internally developed applications. Senior Developer is responsible for constructing best solutions to meet business needs and involving in complex implementations. A successful candidate demonstrates collaborative, effective communication, in depth technical knowledge and dynamic nature to developing solutions.

Requirements

  • At least six (6)+ years of software development experience in a fast-paced environment
  • At least five (5)+ years of experience with Salesforce Hands-on development experience
  • Salesforce Service Cloud; Salesforce Voice Cloud/CTI; Salesforce Security Model; Salesforce Data Model; REST, SOAP, any RDBMS
  • Must have Salesforce Developer II Certification
  • Expertise in Salesforce LWC and Apex development; Salesforce Flows, Visual Flows, Flow Triggers, Validations Rule
  • Experience with various App Exchange products
  • Strong experience with DevOps Tools: Git/Bitbucket, VS Code, Jenkins
  • Strong experience in Agile development methodology
  • Excellent collaborative mentality, verbal and written communication skills
  • Experience in working with Salesforce IS partners, offshore teams

  • Experience in Healthcare Payer industry
  • Additional Salesforce Certifications

Responsibilities

  • Understanding user requirements, user stories effectively and seeking clarifications proactively
  • The design and implementation of multiple complex system integrations and Salesforce features
  • Working collaboratively with architecture team to ensure that the proposed solution is aligned with enterprise architecture direction. Ensure team and solutions follow AmeriHealth SDLC practices, Standards and Enterprise Architecture guidelines
  • Analyzes and reduces complex problems into simple, manageable components
  • Carries out systematic problem identification, analysis, and resolution
  • Performing hands on solution development on Salesforce Platform and other technologies
  • Design, develop, code and test programs from specifications
  • Effectively composes technical and non-technical documents such as design specifications, operation guides, process flows, and other technical schematics
  • Ensure the Salesforce solutions adherence to Salesforce CoE standards
  • Evaluates technical performance challenges and recommends tuning solutions
  • Participate in agile development methodology to drive the outcomes
  • Reviewing other Salesforce developers and contractor’s work
