About The Position

Salesforce Developer Engineer Intern Join AAA’s Roadways College Internship Program! AAA has an exciting opportunity to join the Automotive Team for a 10-week internship. Interns should have a career aspiration and passion for technology, collaboration, and creative problem-solving. Interns will actively participate in the program, contributing to meaningful projects and working each week closely with the Automotive Team. About the Roadways College Internship Program: Over the summer program, interns receive tools and resources for their growth and development that will help them prepare for the current and future workforce, including: Understanding how to align business strategy with key objectives and initiatives Using behavioral and communication tools to enhance their personal image Demonstrating flexibility, agility, and the ability to respond effectively to change, cultivating relationships to increase collaboration and build trust

Requirements

  • Must be a rising or graduating Senior enrolled in a college/university with an emphasis in Computer Science or related fields
  • Working knowledge of object-oriented programming (Java, JavaScript, Python, or similar)
  • Understanding of databases and basic data modeling concepts
  • Ability to learn quickly, ask thoughtful questions, and take feedback constructively
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Clear communication skills and willingness to collaborate in a team environment
  • Must commit to the entirety of the program; June 22nd through August 28th.
  • Must commit to working full-time, 40 hours per week.
  • Must be willing to commute to the office daily.

Responsibilities

  • Support configuration tasks such as creating objects, fields, validation rules, and page layouts.
  • Participate in testing activities, including writing basic test cases and validating functionality.
  • Help troubleshoot and resolve user-reported issues with supervision.
  • Document requirements, technical steps, and solutions in a clear and organized way.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including business analysts, admins, and QA.
  • Learn and apply Salesforce development best practices, security standards, and coding conventions.
  • Learn basic Salesforce tasks and complete specific Trailhead objectives.
